Hali is committed to fostering sustainable
communities. At Hali we put our residents’ health and wellbeing
first.
Prior to the launch of Hali, the Cherrywood project was already
leading the way in the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark
(GRESB) being awarded multiple awards including Global Sector
Leader and Overall Regional Sector Leader in this internationally
recognised certification.
The development is also on track to be the first WELL
Community in Ireland. In addition to the WELL Community standard.
Further to this the development has already achieved a Building
Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM
Official) design certification of EXCELLENT.
Our Parks
Explore Beckett, Ticknick and Tully Parks which include state of the art all-weather sports facilities, 5.5k of cycle lanes, paths and greenways and connecting roads, will make for a very high-quality amenity-rich environment for people to live in.
WELL Community
An innovative new standard to measure community health and wellbeing – WELL Community was explored in the early stages of the Cherrywood development. The WELL Community from the International WELL Building Institute measures 10 key metrics including Air, Water, Light and Sound to promote the development of health-focused, integrated and supported communities. Cherrywood is the 3rd registered WELL Community development in Europe and the 1st in Ireland. A Gold rating is targeted for this certification. Through focusing on the WELL Community Standard, it also ensures that the health and wellbeing standards of the external environment are optimised for our current and future residents of Cherrywood.
Breeam
Breeam stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology and is one of the world’s leading sustainability assessments for masterplan projects, infrastructure and buildings. Cherrywood has received a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ score for development design. This score is a testament to the hard work and diligence of our teams at Cherrywood.
Hali Green Team
At Hali, we encourage our employees in each department to participate in the Hali ‘green team’. The Hali Green team take the lead in suggesting eco-friendly best practices in their area of expertise. This gives our employees a sense of ownership of our green strategies, and more commitment to long-term adoption.
